Position Overview
Agiloft is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to build and lead our marketing team and drive company growth. You will be responsible for articulating Agiloft’s story, developing marketing strategy, and executing demand generation, content, brand, and product marketing.
Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate has experience building modern B2B marketing organizations that drive growth for SaaS businesses. They pride themselves on their ability to communicate clear, concise, consistent, and compelling narratives that motivate users and buyers. They are also a hands-on marketing leader who can hit the ground running and help guide the development of our product and company. Job Responsibilites
Drive company growth through key strategic marketing programs
Drive all marketing programs within the company including strategy development, demand generation, product marketing, customer events, content / thought leadership, PR, program planning
Demand Gen: Build and refine a modern demand generation engine to drive pipeline and growth.
Brand: Develop a forward-thinking, strategic global brand plan and follow through to successful execution
Events: Build and execute a strong calendar of growth driving industry events and our Agiloft Summit
Product Marketing: successfully position, price, and launch our new products and features to achieve commercial success
Partner Marketing: Work alongside our partners (tech, system implementers, etc) to drive demand
Thought Leadership: Develop and communicate customers insights through variety of channels, spokespeople, and events.
Analysts: Maintain and extend our successful analyst relationships
Financial and performance discipline: Develop and track against our KPIs and financial plans.
Team Leadership
Manage, develop and mentor a successful first-class marketing team
Hire and plan future hires to support marketing initiatives
Lead by example in our culture that sets a high bar for supporting each other and our customers
Represent the Company in External Facing Activities
Build and maintain relationships with press/media and analysts through creative PR strategies
Work directly with customers via customer advisory board and other networking events
Executive Team Presence
Critical member of the executive team
Report directly to the CEO
Work closely with all functional leaders, especially our sales, alliances, and product teams
Required Qualifications
10+ years of proven work experience in B2B marketing
5+ years of executive leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding, Business or equivalent, MBA preferred
Experience with a high growth or SaaS company
Strong experience in demand generation, product marketing
Analytical mindset, focus on metrics and operations, and ability to transform high-level, strategic plans to details though implementation
Proven ability to communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively, in multiple settings including verbal, written, and public
Ability to drive engagement initiatives that deliver conversion and bottom line results.
