Platform teams design, build, and operate the platform, enabling everyone to visualize and deploy both existing and new projects. Our approach empowers users to interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without requiring them to become experts. All the while, we uphold best practices, ensuring cloud expenses are managed efficiently and environmental impact is minimized with a reduced carbon footprint.

In API or through the console, Cycloid provides a sustainable platform engineering with a self-service portal that integrates modules around self-service portal & orchestration, infra as code and ressources management, FinOps and GreenOps.

What is my challenge ?

Cycloid is on the lookout for an experienced Senior product Designer with strong frontend development skills to elevate our platform. Operating in a fully remote environment, we welcome from anywhere in Europe candidates who are passionate about shaping exceptional user experiences. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Thomas, our lead designer, along with talented people from product, frontend, backend, and DevOps teams.

We believe in designers who can code, recognizing the power of translating creative visions into tangible, interactive experiences. This skill set not only fosters a deeper understanding of the development process but also empowers designers to bring their ideas to life efficiently. What should I bring to the table?

• Responsibilities

  • Craft new product features, creating and iterating prototypes and high-fidelity visuals.

  • Collaborate with people from technical teams, including frontend, backend, and devOps, to establish feature requirements and validate design proposals.

  • Bring your designs to life by implementing and coding them yourself, or working closely with frontend developers to translate design vision into high-quality Vue.js code.

  • Participate in design critiques and contribute to a collaborative and innovative design culture.

• Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product design.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality visual, interface, and interaction designs, paired with clear and effective communication skills.

  • Able to write high-quality code (HTML, CSS and basic javascript). We value your ability to implement visual changes by yourself.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, and excellent communication skills.

  • Professional/native English speaker, based in Europe.
