ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads to create a steady pipeline of potential B2B clients for the company. You will play a critical role in the early stages of the sales process, engaging prospects, understanding their needs, and setting up qualified leads for our enterprise sales team.

HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT:

  • You’ll research and identify the potential customers we should be engaging, and lead the initial outreach to those individuals.

  • You’ll draft and execute correspondence in the form of email and other campaigns (calling, social, etc.) to generate interest from prospects in commercial conversations with the company.

  • You’ll demo the company’s ai scribe product and be capable of discussing our value proposition for clinicians in any specialty.

  • You’ll handle the initial vetting and qualification of those prospects before turning a lead over to the sales team.

  • You’ll maintain ongoing contact with potential clients who may not be immediately ready to purchase but could convert in the future.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Excellent research skills and comfort using tools like LinkedIn, contact lists, a CRM database, and industry resources to gather background information and identify potential leads.

  • Good organizational skills that allow you to balance follow-ups, new outreach, and research to ensure high-potential leads get attention while staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and target audience needs to improve lead targeting.

  • An ability to ask smart questions, handle potential buyer objections, and build a good rapport with prospective customers - most of whom are strapped for time, want concise explanations on value, and don’t ‘want to be sold to.’

  • High motivation, self direction, and an intrinsic sense of ownership and accountability.

  • An indefatigable spirit that’s able to persevere despite rejections and other difficulties that might emerge along the way.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Previous experience in an early-stage, high growth company.

  • Familiarity with advanced technology and AI-type products and solutions.

  • Previous experience working in a cross-functional, highly collaborative, asynchronous working environment.

BENEFITS:
