Azure DevOps Engineer

Be part of a fast-moving, lean product development organization, supporting the Lone Wolf family of Applications. Deliver reliable, scalable new automation and tooling features to the Lone Wolf. Work with the Development and Product teams to deliver Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery across all Lone Wolf Cloud based SaaS Products hosted in Azure.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1.Design, implement and manage Azure cloud environments and assets.
The incumbent in this position will be responsible for ownership of all Azure environments and all the services we run in these environments:
Containers deployment and maintenance
Managing, evaluating, and reporting backups success/failure
Designing, implementing, and testing resilience strategies that meet DR and recovery objectives.
Performing all Azure maintenance and upgrades to all environments.
Implementing cloud resource management using best practices
2.Automation. Adhering to best practice and proven patterns to create and maintain automation for the following areas,
Environment provisioning
Auto scaling environments
Monitoring and alerting
Expense, utilization / consumptions thresholds and billing
3.Use of Bitbucket, Jira and creating operational documentation as required (Confluence articles, Playbooks, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
3-5 years of design, setup, deployment of Azure environments
3+ years of building automation within Azure
Expert experience Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Kubernetes
Intermediate understanding of network concepts and security best practices.
Broad understanding of Agile, Lean, or similar development methodologies/experience
Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
Experience working for a high growth SaaS company.
Conversational English Language skills
