Position Overview

As an Enterprise Account Executive for the DACH region at Urbantz, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by developing this strategic market from scratch. We seek a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record in Enterprise Sales, particularly in the technology and software sectors. You will be responsible for driving new business, managing key accounts, and achieving ambitious sales targets through our advanced last-mile delivery solutions.

This role requires an entrepreneurial approach to building the DACH market with significant autonomy. While resources like dedicated Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and extensive marketing support are minimal, you will have access to email campaigns and events to aid your efforts. The initial stages will heavily focus on prospecting, demanding a substantial time investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the business and manage our consultative value selling processes.

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and present tailored solutions to prospective clients.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from outreaching to generate. opportunities, to qualification and closing.

  • Identify and engage with potential clients through research, networking, and outreach in a market that requires building relationships from the ground up.

  • Analyze and clarify strategic and operational goals with customers during negotiation to identify how Urbantz can add value to their logistic operations.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the DACH region's enterprise sector.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Work closely and effectively collaborate with internal teams to lead the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Marketing, Sales Operation, Solution Architects, Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, etc.

The Must Haves

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a strong emphasis on enterprise sales involving contracts from €300K to >€1.5M ARR.

  • Proven track record in opening new markets and preparing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including market segmentation and account targeting.

  • Demonstrated success in enterprise software sales. Extensive experience leading sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in consultative and value-driven Technology sales.

  • Familiarity with sales techniques such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, SPIN, and Sandler.

  • Self-motivated, high-achiever, and a “rain maker”.

  • Completely fluent in German and fluent in English; any other language is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use them effectively to develop your network.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset underlined by unlimited energy.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (peak period estimate).

  • Experience with large technology companies is a must, startup is a plus.

  • Experience in Logistics & Supply Chain is a plus.
