Head of Brand and Content

Job Overview:

Crypto and stablecoin technology is complex. At Zero Hash, we are simplifying access to crypto and stablecoin technology with our API and SDK infrastructure. We need an in-house resident content and storyteller to simplify the complex, and to make our brand unforgettable for the audiences we serve, across every touch point.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and craft crystal-clear content and stories that connect, engage, and inspire our employees, customers, partners, investors and people globally. Your definition of success is to create a world-class experience with our audience, through the use of content, at every stage of the customer journey

You will create a content strategy that drives inbound leads, builds awareness of the Zero Hash brand and proposition, continues to position us as a thought leader on crypto and stablecoins, and importantly delivers the best customer experience at every interaction with our brand. Reporting to the VP, Growth Enablement, you’ll work alongside teams focused on Revenue, ABM and demand gen, Client Services, Product, Engineering, Legal and Compliance.

This is a greenfield opportunity, where you will enjoy creative freedom to lead and own how the Zero Hash story is told to capture hearts and minds, at every stage of the customer lifecycle.

  • Strategy: you’ll be responsible for creating the content and thought leadership strategy, and its successful implementation.

  • Define and build our story, and brand narrative that positions Zero Hash as the leading crypto and stablecoin infrastructure provider

  • Take overall responsibility for our content strategy, ensuring the plan is executed and is successful in helping achieve our brand and revenue goals

  • Repurpose content into different forms, and execute across multiple channels to maximize shelf-life and engagement with our audiences

  • Agency Management: responsible for the output and performance of our PR and comms agency

  • Stakeholder Management: Create content with a broad range of internal stakeholders:; Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Compliance

  • Redesign and continually optimize our website to build a site that’s memorable, helpful and makes visitors take action

  • Level-up the story of our “Connect presented by Zero Hash” events brand. Build a narrative to grow the “Connect” product and community, with the goal to become the leading event for stablecoin education.

  • Play a pivotal role in the creation and implementation of our “Connect” SDK product. Help us build a content led developer experience, establishing Zero Hash as the go to platform for developers seeking to build and launch crypto and stablecoin products

  • Craft well designed stories that impact every stage of the customer journey from awareness, to interest all the way to customer and brand advocate

  • Build a thought leadership toolkit that positions Zero Hash as the leading voice in not only our space, but across the verticals that we serve (including thought leadership, community marketing, white papers, podcasts, and videos, ensuring quality is high)

  • Use the power of content and brand storytelling to inject a bit of magic into how we talk about our products and the customer experience

  • ROI / Analysis; prepare reports on the impact of our content and stories; successes, failures and new opportunities to capitalize on.

Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of content and storytelling experience in a fast-paced environment

  • You’ll have held a leadership role in a content-focused role for a technology or fintech business

  • If you have built a content and storytelling plan (mission, values, brand strategy and tone of voice ) from scratch, and are well experienced in working with PR and comms agencies, copywriters, and website developers

  • Budget management experience; in particular demonstrating efficient use of budget to maximize outputs and ROI

  • You have been deeply involved in creating content by partnering with a broad array of internal functions like Product, Marketing, Design, and Ops and Compliance

  • You love creativity. We can be serious, but we don’t need to be boring

  • Track record of storytelling that generates media attention, increases mind share, and grows our customer base

  • You’re a ‘doer!’. You’re all about action and getting stuff done

  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to senior management and external stakeholders

  • Ability to perform well under pressure, handle several different projects and responsibilities simultaneously with ease

  • Self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach, and take pride in doing your best work, where you strive for perfection, but don’t let it get in the way of execution

  • Experience working in a scale up at a Fintech / Crypto-native company is a big plus
