Job Summary:
Talent Infusion, a division of Blavity Inc. seeks a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team and help us drive our subscription based SAAS product forward. This position is an outbound role, meaning you are responsible for finding, contacting, and converting leads through your own efforts. The Business Development Representative will play a critical role in lead generation and new relationship building for our product. The efforts of the Business Development Representative will help us to expand our reach and attract new customers who are seeking the best diverse candidates in the market.
This position will report into and have direct oversight from the Talent Infusion Senior Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research to identify potential clients within target industries who are in need of our hiring solution
Manage, develop and maintain a sales pipeline in order to achieve quarterly sales goals and track progress against these goals
Grow Talent Infusion customer base by adding new contacts and accounts using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn Insights, ZoomInfo, and LeadIQ
Complete tasks related to Outbound Lead Generation including conducting account research, prospect research, and reaching out to prospects via email, cold calls, and social media messaging
Maintain effective communication with potential and existing clients to identify and assess client needs
Provide regular feedback to management
Work with Sales Manager on outbound strategies
Work Strategic Partnerships Lead on accounts/prospects that come in via Marketing Campaigns
Input and maintain data in Salesforce
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience
Required Experience:
Previous experience as a Sales, Sales Development, Business Development role; 1 year + preferred
Experience prospecting/selling into Enterprise/Strategic Accounts
Experience consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas within specified time frames
Experience working in a high growth-tech company
Preferred Experience:
Basic understanding of what presales is
Previous experience in B2B Software Sales
SaaS product and subscription models
Technologies:
Working knowledge of Salesloft/Outreach.io , Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and LeadIQ
Plus if you have previous experience with project manager tools such as Asana and Jira
Additional Qualifications:
Self-starter with the ability to demonstrate successfully working remote
Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions independently
Strong organization and planning skills
Clear and concise communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
Ability to work in a media environment, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust as circumstances change.
A healthy appreciation of GIFs and Black culture
Details:
This is a fully remote role, U.S.- based role. Occasional travel may be required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Candidates must be available to work in alignment with the Pacific or Central Time Zones.
The annual salary for this role is $65,000.
