About role
Account Manager is a person, who is ultimately accountable for a client's success. Of course, this success should happen while ensuring organization's success. We all have a technological background, while the role of Account Manager is the most business-like, focused on delivering the highest value based on expert competencies.
Account Manager is assigned early in the sales process and his/her responsibility starts with the ownership of placing the winning proposal. Naturally, ownership doesn't mean doing everything as the one-person-army, working in a team is crucial here. But the Account Manager should challenge our estimations and should ask questions to make sure we are aware of the Client's challenge and that our proposal is the winning one.
During the project delivery phase (after signing the contract), a good Account Manager monitors the project status and progress. Monitoring doesn't mean being present at every DSM (daily scrum meeting). But it means that he or she attends sprint planning/demo sessions.
Job responsibilities
Identifying and active acquisitions of new customers
Analyzing the market and assessing the different sales channels
Developing cooperation with the current customers
Creating a high-level project scope based on the business expectations
Validating proposal estimations against the Client's needs and budget
Constantly ensuring GetInData's service brings unique value to the Client
Ultimate accountability for the quality of GetInData's proposals
Keeping an eye on the business numbers
Acting as the bridge between key stakeholders from the Client's side and internal technical teams
Leading small to medium teams in the project delivery phase
Gathers a project team gets assigned to the project with the right timing
Make sure other key project roles (Project Architect / Project Lead) are assigned
Account Manager is quite often the one who picks up the ball and makes the team follow
Job requirements
Should be able to make decisions on his/her own, while acting as the key GetInData | part of Xebia representative in talks with the key project stakeholders
A technical degree is not required, but experience in IT projects is a must
2+ years experience in sales activities
3+ years experience in leading project delivery teams
3+ years experience in the IT industry, ideally acting as the service provider
A proven track record in delivering value as the project/contract leader
Good communication skills
Solid analytical and conceptual skills
Ability to adapt to quickly-changing environments
Ability to transform business requirements into technical specifications
Basic understanding of topics like project revenue, costs, overheads, margin, project markup, project profit
Fluent English (C1 min.)

Salary: 16 500 -24 000 PLN net + VAT B2B (depending on knowledge and experience)
