The Role: Regional Vice President, Strategic Growth

Location: Remote

What You’ll Do:

Government Relations OR Clinical Strategy Expertise:

  • Government Relations

    • Develop and execute comprehensive government relations strategies to influence public policy at the local, state, and federal levels.

    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including legislators, regulators, government agencies, and advocacy groups.

    • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the company and develop proactive responses.

    • Represent the company's interests in legislative hearings, industry conferences, and other public forums.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between government relations initiatives and overall business objectives.

  • Clinical Strategy

    • Evaluate mental health clinical market strategies and trends related to digital/telehealth services

    • Provide clinical support related to HIPAA compliance, telemedicine laws, reimbursement policies, and best practices in telehealth service delivery

    • Develop and execute strategic plans for expanding telehealth services in the mental health sector; this involves identifying target markets, analyzing competition, and devising effective marketing strategies

    • Understand financial principles and metrics relevant to telehealth business models, such as revenue generation, cost analysis, pricing strategies, and return on investment (ROI) calculations

    • Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements governing telehealth services, including licensure, credentialing, billing, coding, and documentation standards

New Business Development:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic priorities and growth objectives.

  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand their needs and explore collaboration opportunities.

  • Lead the development and execution of business development plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and proposal development.

  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence.

  • Track and report on key performance metrics related to new business development activities.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to internal teams related to your subject matter expertise.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's overall strategic plan and business objectives.

  • Represent the company in industry associations, professional networks, and other relevant forums to enhance our visibility and reputation.

What Excites Us:

Government Relations OR Clinical Strategy requirements:

  • Government Relations:

    • Licensed clinical mental health professional with minimum 15 years experience

    • Minimum 15 years progressive leadership roles focused on clinical strategy

    • Experience supporting commercial and business development teams in a clinical executive role

    • 10+ years experience providing clinical support to digital/telehealth services

  • Clinical Strategy:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, law, or a related field; law degree and licensed to practice law preferred.

    • Previous experience as a state legislator or other state elected official, with a strong understanding of the legislative process, regulatory environment and particularly the appropriations and procurement processes.

    • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing government relations strategies that achieve tangible results, preferably in the digital healthcare sector.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, preferably in the digital healthcare sector.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

This is an exciting position in a fast-paced organization. We offer:

  • A competitive compensation package, including a hiring base pay range of $150,000 - $180,000 with additional commission eligibility.
