WHAT YOU WILL DO
onX is seeking a Senior Marketing Technology Manager with a passion for enabling high-growth marketing programs. You will develop and implement creative solutions to operational challenges. This individual contributor will be responsible for various operations and automation projects ranging from implementing new marketing technologies to lead scoring. Your focus will be on growth enablement through our marketing tech stack. This position will report to the Head of Lifecycle and Marketing Automation.
As an onX Senior Marketing Technology Manager, your essential job duties and responsibilities will look like:
Be the expert in the systems supporting onX’s marketing programs, especially our automation platform and processes, helping to ensure that best practices for data management, workflow automation, and reporting are consistently implemented and adapted
Manage our marketing technology vendor relationships
Work with stakeholders across marketing, product, and engineering to build out and maintain our marketing tech stack
Work closely with Business Operations, Business Intelligence, and Marketing Leads team to ensure the alignment of marketing & sales on key processes and programs for managing and measuring marketing programs
Manage day-to-day operations by coordinating directly with cross-functional groups to ensure the best possible user experience
Monitor and maintain data flows between the marketing databases and third-party tools
Lead requirements gathering, vendor selection criteria definition, and management of all marketing tech stack implementation and migration projects
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Eight (8) or more years of marketing, marketing operations, or automation experience
Bachelors in Marketing, Operations, or comparable experience
Must have experience in direct-to-consumer marketing and familiarity with current best practices in mobile marketing
Marketing automation expertise and previous involvement with implementation, integrations, management, and knowledge of best practices
Experience with Segment, Webinar Platforms, Website Chat, CMS Platforms, and other marketing tools
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Experience working with project management software (e.g. JIRA, Asana, etc.)
Independent, motivated, and excited to roll up your sleeves and get things done
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation

Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.
Must be available for travel to a corporate office in Montana periodically.
ADDED BONUSES
Though not required, we would be thrilled to consider candidates with any of the following:
Experience writing SQL, building Tableau dashboards, and analyzing program efficiency
Experience with Braze, Mparticle, Amplitude, Kochava
Formal project management experience
WHERE YOU CAN WORK
onX has created a thriving distributed workforce community across several US locations. This position can be performed from an onX corporate office, “Basecamp,” or “Connection Hub”.
Corporate Offices: onX was founded in Montana with offices in Missoula and Bozeman. If you prefer to work in an office at least part of the time, this is a great option.
Basecamps: onX’s Basecamps are established virtual workforce communities where a sizable number of distributed team members group for work, volunteering, socializing, and adventure.
Our current Basecamps are located within a 90-mile radius of the following: Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Kalispell, MT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; and Seattle, WA.
Connection Hubs: onX’s Connection Hub locations are smaller, emerging communities of distributed team members.
Our current Connection Hubs are located within a 60-mile radius of the following: Boise, ID; Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, VA; Spokane, WA; and Vermont.
HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED
onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $110,000 to $135,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
