42 Agency is a B2B Marketing Operations (MOPS) and Demand Generation agency that partners with high-growth B2B SaaS companies to achieve their go-to-market (GTM) objectives. We are a small B2B agency but punch above our weight. We are lean & there's a lot of room to build.

We are a global remote team with team members across 🇨🇦🇲🇽🇨🇴🇵🇰🇵🇭🇷🇸 we work via Slack and Clickup so clear written communication is essential.

At 42, we take an AI-forward approach, leveraging tools and technologies to drive operational efficiency. We build internal tooling with AI, perform data analysis, and use AI to brainstorm and develop ideas. We do not use AI as a replacement for critical thinking, taste, and human intuition.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Growth / Demand Generation Strategist to own strategy for our customers. This is a Player / Coach role. While you're expected to lead strategy & not be in the weeds, occasionally you will need to get your hands dirty to execute.

This role involves thinking holistically about B2B customer acquisition, understanding the customers business challenges, GTM motions and marketing positioning to drive efficient customer and pipeline generation. Your core responsibility is meet monthly KPI targets around SQLs / MQLs & Pipeline.

While the 70% focus of this role is on driving paid media & organic strategy, experience with email marketing, out of home advertising, experiential & event marketing is a huge plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer relationship as the senior technical SME

  • Advise & consult with the customer on go-to-market & demand generation challenges

  • Design strategies for holistic DG programs that can exceed customer goals

  • Own the outcomes & deliverables for campaigns & programs

  • Work with team across design, marketing ops, demand specialists

  • Think out side the box on new programs & strategies to exceed targets.

  • Monitor the campaign & program performance

  • Design experiments & frameworks to test

  • Seek to improve efficiency of demand programs

  • Lead monthly / bi-weekly & quarterly meetings.

  • Setup Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to review performance, set the goals & strategy for the next quarter.

  • Understand B2B Attribution, Funnel Management, CAC & LTV Models

  • Build a narrative around the data & not bring the kitchen sink of data. Be able to understand what executive leadership & board cares about from metrics & KPI point of view.

  • Leverage intent & 3rd party audiences to inform targeting and segmentation strategies, improving engagement and conversion rates.

What We Think Your Background Would Look Like

  • 5-6+ years of B2B demand generation experience in SaaS (agency preferred).

  • Proven track record managing enterprise B2B client relationships and driving measurable results.

  • Hands-on experience with major paid media platforms (LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta, YouTube). This is a player coach position & you will be expected to manage programs

  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing concepts and metrics (e.g., MQL, SQL, SQL-to-Opportunity).

  • Operational experience with Hubspot / Salesforce to understand reports/metrics.

Technical Knowledge

  • Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads for B2B customer acquisition.

  • Proficiency in lifecycle emails, including nurturing sequences, drip campaigns, and advanced segmentation.

  • Strong grasp of attribution models, knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling & Marketing Measurement

  • Building dashboards (with tools like Databox) & telling a narrative around the data.

  • Knowledge of intent data (1P/3P) and its application in demand generation strategies.

  • Experience with Clickup is an advantage

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level vision and tactical execution.

  • Exceptional client communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver insights.

  • Ability to thrive in chaos. We are a small company & everyone wears multiple hats. There are no clear instructions available all the time. You must be able to understand the problem & think about solutions
