
Brand Strategist

We’re looking for a Brand Strategist to join our team and help lead the development of marketing strategies that will drive growth for our studio companies. You'll develop informed messaging strategies to engage specific audiences and campaigns to increase the impact of marketing for early-stage companies. Your work will focus on both short-term wins and improving long-term perceptions.
In close collaboration with founders and teams, you'll provide the learning and recommendations that inform foundational product messaging strategy, marketing plans, strategic creative briefs that identify target consumer segments, key insights, potential channels, etc.

You’ll be responsible for:
Building foundational brand and product strategy documents.
Working across teams and with product leaders to develop messaging hierarchies for key product explorations, launches, and campaigns.
Building messaging maps, research discussion guides, content strategies, and competitive audits.
Standing up marketing processes. As we build the team you will contribute to and influence how we collaborate and do marketing work at All Turtles.
Generating and presenting creative briefs to shape strategic thinking and focus, partnering with our brand and design team to develop actionable, audience-centric ideas.
Engaging directly with a range of stakeholders, including studio company founders.
Playing the role of “simplifier” who sees a path forward through complicated ideas and conflicting opinions, and who can communicate this path with clarity, conviction, and purpose.
Developing and executing research plans for supplemental qualitative and quantitative research to develop new insights and implications/opportunities.
Facilitating planning and ideation sessions.
Ideally, you’ll have:
10+ years of professional experience, building brand strategy for early stage (even pre-product) technology companies.
A flexible mindset with good instincts and high empathy.
A collaborative working style and desire to support cross-functional teams.
Strong writing and storytelling skills and an ability to help teams define their verbal identities.
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research, using it to inform brand, service, and experience design.
An ability to see the big picture, synthesize insights, and translate them into frameworks for brand strategy and design thinking.
A clear communicator who has experience working directly with clients, and who can build a positive relationship while standing behind a team’s work.
A proven track record of leading through influence and delivering persuasive presentations to a variety of stakeholders and audiences.
A knack for rolling up your sleeves and taking action, thriving in fast paced environments managing across multiple shifting priorities.
The Brand Strategist is a contract position reporting to the Head of Marketing. The All Turtles team is fully distributed, and this role can be based in any location.
