Amazon Creative Manager/Product Storyteller

Summary

Ecomm Inroads is seeking a creative storyteller who can understand the key differentiation story for a given product and think through powerful ways to bring that product story to life, visually, on the product’s Amazon page. This role will require product research, product copywriting, understanding what is available for product photography (and requesting new photos if need be) – to generate a creative brief for a graphic designer to then execute.

Candidates for this role should have 2-4 years of product marketing & e-commerce experience, be an out-of-the-box thinker, a hard worker, and a self-starter. Candidates should have experience using PowerPoint or similar presentation software to clearly outline their ideas for a graphic designer to execute.

Ecomm Inroads is a rapidly growing Amazon-focused company & agency. We’ve launched multiple profitable brands on Amazon ourselves, all of them in highly competitive product categories, and we live in Amazon every single day.

We are in the exciting position to be very selective with the clients we work with, and we only work with brands that have a cool mission or exciting product story. (Basically, we only work with clients we like!)

The agency is fully run and operated by the two cofounders, and candidates for this role will report directly to the co-founders on a daily basis.

We are based in Austin, Texas, and in San Diego, California. This position is fully remote with occasional travel to work with the co-founders from time to time.

What We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a creative, out of box thinker who can distill down the key product story for a given product, and bring it to life on the Amazon page. This will typically require stitching together product imagery plus product copy into a graphic design brief, which will be given to one of our graphic designers to execute.

Ideal Candidates:

  • 2-4 years product marketing or e-commerce experience

  • Excited to learn more about eCommerce & Amazon from the cofounders

  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills & experience

  • Self Starter, efficient, fast worker

  • Fluid using visual communication tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides

  • Thrive in a fast-changing environment. You should be able to multitask at an expert level and help assure that tasks get completed.

  • Native English speaker

  • Hustling, entrepreneurial spirit
