
Marketing Manager for B2B SaaS
Feature Upvote helps product managers track feature requests. It is delivered via the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

About the engagement:
16-20 hours/week, depending on your availability
12 month engagement, moving to an ongoing commitment if both sides are happy with the initial engagement

On a freelance basis
Until now, we have not had a dedicated marketing person, so you’ll be able to define this role. Marketing until now has been performed by the founder, with the prior assistance of an expert content specialist.
We’re flexible with the hours you work, so this role is well-suited to someone who appreciates flexibility. For example, you might be:
a parent looking to balance family life with work life, needing to work around school drop-offs and pick-ups, school holidays, and those unexpected sick days children often have.
a part-time masters student.
Things you’ll do:
You’ll get to help define this role, so this will be up to you. However regular tasks might include:
Manage our content
Either write new content, or manage freelance writers
Manage our SEO
Ensure our newsletter is excellent and is sent every month
Manage our social media accounts
Manage our ad campaigns
Conduct customer interviews
And the things you advise us to do!
About us:
We’re a tiny, fully remote team, mostly in Europe. Our company is based in Barcelona.
The founder of Feature Upvote hosts the Bootstrapped podcast (https://bootstrapped.fm/).
Feature Upvote’s first line of code was written in November 2016, and we launched in May 2017.

About you:
You are smart and get things done.
You speak excellent English.
Nice-to-have: Fluency in German.
You have solid experience in marketing in the software industry.
You are able to demonstrate past work.
The time zone where you live is within +/- one hour of Central European Standard Time.

The hiring process
