Senior Product Designer

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.

Social Security, our nation’s retirement safety net, is projected to be insolvent as soon as 2035, making employer-sponsored 401(k) plans the primary retirement savings vehicle in the U.S. Nearly half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.

Our values are the guiding principles we use to build solutions for plan administrators and participants. They reflect our point of view on what’s important and what’s right:

In it for customers, autonomous & accountable, outcomes driven, inclusive collaboration, and decisive.

Imagine a company with a great product that has reimagined and simplified the traditional way of doing things. Our product has real customers, momentum and growth, and we are looking to build a great Design team that will uplevel the experience and amplify the impact.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the design vision, strategy and culture at a fast-growing, purpose-driven company. It’s a chance to help build a Design team that will focus on helping people secure their future by saving for retirement. We’re looking for design leaders at all levels who will craft meaningful experiences that make people's lives better.

Together, we will create a close-knit, collaborative team, guided by a highly iterative user-centered design process. We will combine research, data, and thoughtful critique, as we discover customer needs and solve problems that impact work and life for millions of people around the world.

We are highly mission-focused and believe in customer-centered innovation. The role demands great execution, attention to quality, optimism to solve problems with creativity, and ambition to take on projects from start to finish. You’ll work on solving problems that will make a meaningful difference.
