Remote Product Manager

KLIM Technologies is looking for a new Remote Product Manager.

You will report to the Lead Product Manager and join the Product Manager Team.

You will also work in close collaboration with our Graphic Design Team, In-house Design Team, Chinese Team, Operations Managers, and Customer Support so that you can launch new products successfully. In addition to your immediate contributions as Product Manager, the goal is that you can progressively grow your skills, productivity, and responsibilities.

Your duties and responsibilities

The Product Manager is responsible for driving new product development. The Product Manager will be tasked with ensuring that:

  • (a) the process from concept to launch is as fast as possible and

  • (b) the quality of the end product is impeccable.

The Product Manager will work with the marketing team, the engineering team and the sourcing team. We strongly believe in leaving a lot of autonomy to make decisions whatever the position in the company, and this is no exception.

Our success has been based on our ability to quickly fill in gaps in the market & bring superior product quality at our price point. New products are the biggest vector of growth for us.

You can directly see the results of your work in helping the company grow.

At KLIM we strongly believe in an unglamorous, but pragmatic approach to product development. We only go into markets where we believe we see an unmet need and bring a better product than the competition.

Thanks to e-commerce and platforms such as Amazon we have at our disposal millions of negative reviews that let us know customers are unsatisfied. No need for focus groups and such, we just have to listen to what customers are telling us.

Customers’ dissatisfaction is our opportunity.

You will be in charge of

  • Find new promising products/market opportunities.

  • Source or develop new products from scratch in collaboration with our In-house Design Department

  • Test samples and suggest any improvements that need to be made.

  • Manage production in collaboration with our team in China.

  • Give art direction to our Graphic Design Team to make user-friendly manuals and packaging and high-converting visuals and listings.

  • Manage product launches on Amazon in collaboration with our Operations Managers.

To fit this position

We hire mostly for abilities, as we strongly believe that with a willingness to learn a person can quickly get up to speed, but these would give you a starting advantage:

  • You’re good with numbers and spreadsheets to find data-driven patterns to approve or dismiss new product opportunities.

  • You have a customer-first mindset. You’re able to develop an understanding of what drives customers so that you can target all product-related decisions based on the demand side of the market.

  • You have excellent communication skills as you will work with multiple departments on a daily basis.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to push forward the company as a whole rather than simply focusing on your own performance.

  • You are organized and can manage multiple products and projects simultaneously whilst keeping realistic deadlines.

  • You learn fast and always have a positive energy towards new challenges.

  • You are able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have proficient English writing and verbal skills.

  • The full catalogue of KLIM products
