
Ad Operations Manager
The Ad Operations Manager will serve as a bridge between the business and tech/platform functions, a centralization of responsibilities and expertise in implementation and ongoing management of the publisher-side ad-server client across multiple business verticals and categories. This role will be initially responsible for interfacing with the ad-server client partnering closely with the internal technology teams (responsible for the technical and platform implementation) and the vertical business teams to test, deploy and rollout across the marketplace components. Additionally, you will be responsible for building the operational function and working model, including the associated processes, documentation, reporting, and tools. You will consult, train, and guide the business operators, codifying business logic and building campaigns that maximize desired business results. You will own the relationship management of the ad-server client, identifying and assisting with future enhancements and functionality to meet the business needs.
Where you can make an impact:
Partnering with internal tech/platform and business teams to architect, test, and deploy ad-server based campaigns across key marketplace components
Build ongoing management operations, including developing and recording processes, reporting, and client-interfacing tools
Working closely with business teams in building and managing campaigns that maximize desired business results
Campaign set-up, execution, and quality assurance, ensuring delivery is meeting expectations, and recommending solutions to quickly resolve issues
Budget management including allocation of partner budgets, revisions of ad placements, and oversight of ad burn rates
Providing support and communicating status of campaigns, issues or delays, and addressing any day-to-day aspects or questions
Generating and updating performance reporting, analyzing and providing suggestions for future optimization
Documenting, updating and maintaining key intake, process, and work-flow procedures, leveraging best practices and identifying opportunity to improve efficiency or effectiveness
In partnership with tech/platform teams, manage ad-server client vendor as business representative
Additional projects and tasks supporting the team where required
You are:
Someone with significant prior publisher ad operations and client service experience
Someone with a proven track record of delivering and exceeding business results
Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels
Someone with the ability to build from scratch, navigate ambiguity, motivate and manage self

Bachelor's degree
5 plus years of experience within professional environment (both small and large sized companies a plus)
Some experience and familiarity within or working with financial services
At least 3 years within adtech / ad server campaign operations (in-depth knowledge and comfort required)

This role will be based in San Francisco, CA or remote (based in the U.S.).
