
Sales Development Representative

Role overview:
We're most importantly looking for people who are excited about our vision and mission. We're redefining the category of financial wellness, and have passionate customers who can vouch for this.
We have repeatable traction on the sales side, as well as organic growth. The opportunity with this role is to join a fast-growing company that has hit the inflection point, and bring hustle, passion, and grit as we continue to scale revenue.
You will be working with a smart and quick moving team as you prospect and hunt for more sales opportunities, leveraging many tools and platforms at your disposal.
In this role, you will:
Be a foundational member of a quickly growing sales team
Collaborate with sales/AE’s as you strategically evaluate ways in which to find, target, and produce sales opportunities
Hit daily and weekly sales metrics
Collaborate with all parts of the Northstar team, including marketing, customer success, financial planning, and product
Paint the Northstar vision and opportunity for prospects, through a combination of quantitative ROI and qualitative value propositions
Build strong relationships and champions within prospects to drive SQL’s
Continue to build relationships with prospects even when it’s not a fit at the time

You will become one of the first sales development representatives in the department and as you execute and hit sales qualification targets and the team scales as a result, you will have opportunities on quick upward mobility
Our team is very cross-functional. Titles are fluid, when everyone contributes to solving a problem in their unique ways. Our team is highly collaborative, and we do our best work when collaborating with each other.
You should:
Have at least one year of experience in an outbound sales role, with prospecting/hunting experience, ideally in tech/SaaS
Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (sales qualification, cold calling, emailing, messaging, etc.)
Have experience in the early high growth stages of a startup, in the HR/benefits space preferred
Have strong presentation skills; Executive level communication skills (both written and verbal)
