Job Overview
As the Paid Social Media Marketing Manager, you will coordinate the development of creative and set up of ad sets on paid social channels (eg. Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, LinkedIn), report on performance of channel tests, and develop insights that lead our creative and positioning on paid channels.
This remote, full-time role reports into the Director, Performance Marketing, and works closely with the creative team and broader marketing team.
What You’ll Do:
Optimize creative, copy, landing page, and audience tests run on paid social media channels. If something performs well, we want you to help us understand why, so we can build scale around it
Develop insights that lead our creative direction and positioning. Coordinate with the creative team to make those insights a reality as practical, high performing ad sets
Set up new ads or iterate on existing ads with high attention to the details of audience, budgets, UTM parameters, copy and other ad settings
Work on a test and learn cadence where every 2 weeks we share results and act on them to improve performance
Who You Are
2+ years of hands-on experience with Paid Social channel. Facebook is a priority and bonus points for Tiktok, Snapchat, or LinkedIn
Comfortable pulling data from ad platforms or internal systems and crunching numbers in Excel or Google Sheets
Story teller: you can see ideas in the data and explain to other team members where the opportunities are and ultimately work with them to make those ideas a reality
Nice to haves: Direct to Consumer marketing experience or education/e-learning background
Goal-driven with a bias for action and willingness to learn
Passion for improving education
