About Reverb
Reverb is a full-service podcast production and marketing agency. We work with financial services and fintech companies who are serious about building a quality brand, creating shows that matter, and taking their business to the next level.
We value freedom and autonomy. We love what we do. And we have created an environment where you can do your best work free from micro-management. We are always looking for ways to improve, and we value the input and expertise of everyone on our team.
About the role
You will work with the COO from an operational standpoint to make sure the team is operating efficiently, and everyone has what they need. You will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that everything goes smoothly with our client's podcasts from a production and publishing standpoint. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day operations, and everything involving a podcast's organization and timeline.
You will be responsible for:
Overseeing the scheduling and publishing of all our client's podcasts.
Ensuring podcasts go live every week, on schedule, and that they meet our quality standards.
This includes coordinating with contractors (audio editors, writers, video editors) and making sure we never miss a publish date.
Notifying clients and guests when their episodes go live and sharing marketing assets with them.
QAing episodes and making sure everything is accurate when it goes live, nothing slipping through the cracks.
Checking our recording app (Riverside.fm) for new recordings and uploading those recordings into the production workflow.
Handling guest approval/compliance workflows when guests require approval before publishing.
Creating and refining systems and processes with the tools we use.
Reporting and escalating to COO as needed.
About you
You are reliable. Our business is deadline-driven. We are a very detail-oriented, process-driven company, and this role requires a high level of attention to detail.
You are a great communicator. Our team is 100% remote, and the ability to communicate in a clear and timely manner is essential.
You are curious and obsess over the details. We cannot overstate the importance of attention to detail. You are not the kind of person who assumes “someone else will handle that”.
You do your best work, every time. You check your own quality before passing your work to others.
You enjoy your work. You are excited to grow and build a career that provides you with freedom and the ability to work remotely with a flexible schedule.
You are proficient with platforms and tools such as:
G Suite
Dropbox
Slack
A huge plus if you have experience with podcasting tools and apps, such as:
Adobe Audition
Descript
Popular recording and hosting apps such as Riverside and Megaphone
ProcessKit
You are able to work within established systems and processes, and are eager to grow and improve your craft.
Compensation
This role is currently a full-time contractor position with an annual salary of $42,000 - $50,000 (based on experience) and bonuses based on performance.
We want to create the role you want! If you would rather have a W-2 and benefits, this role could grow into that. Our desire is to build a role you love and helps you create the life you want.
