People Programs Manager (U.S. Only)

What You'll Do

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, and highly motivated People Programs Manager to join our rapidly growing team at Shogun! In this role, you will partner closely with and support various leaders and team members to help ensure an engaging and rich employee experience through the people programs we launch. 

The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture as the organization grows and scales. To help us understand and design this experience, we are looking for a strategic, creative, action-oriented People professional with experience supporting People Team programs. 

  • Act as the project manager for major People Team initiatives such as comp reviews, performance reviews, surveys, Shogie training, as well as ad hoc initiatives, integrating diversity of perspectives into design and delivery approaches

  • Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on inbound employee questions and feedback

  • Manage, develop, and maintain people-centric programs and cultural change initiatives

  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify gaps and people program opportunities, then create and advise on next steps to meet stakeholder and organizational needs.

  • Provide clear communication of progress, roadblocks, updates, and future plans to direct lead/scaled programs and experience leadership team

  • Work with teams to define implementation plans that identify milestones, risks, responsibilities, success metrics, and scalability

  • Lead strategic projects and deep dives to analyze and solve larger scale business and organizational problems

  • Partner with lead to keep key stakeholders informed of progress on people-related programs and highlight any areas where processes need to evolve or change.

  • Develop measurements of success for assigned programs, create sustainable and scalable program solutions, and report and measure results

  • Maintain influential relationships with People team and other stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Need to have

  • 5+ years of work experience in program management or other equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources 

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally, identifying key pain points and leveraging data to make informed decisions on a global scale

  • Communication and collaboration skills, with experience navigating ambiguous situations and assessing problems from multiple perspectives

  • Experience managing large complex projects, building program workstreams, and setting key deliverables and milestones

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and varying priorities

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams to set objectives and produce results

  • Experience managing career growth/development programs, DEI related programs

  • Experience auditing and synthesizing content

  • Experience with Lattice, Asana, and Notion
