
Social Media Director
We’re looking for a Social Media innovator with a reputation for inspiring content creation and facilitating large, organic followings for their clients—someone that understands the convergence of consciousness, environmentalism, and space exploration and can write eloquently about it.
They must have the ability to appeal to the scientific community and ultimately influence the public, both within our space community and beyond.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone that is passionate about the Space for Humanity mission, to expand access to space for all of humanity, and committed to showing up with excellence and integrity in all aspects of their work. So many of our relationships are cultivated through our social media presence. Our SM Director is responsible for nurturing those relationships through every communication.
Space for Humanity is already a social media leader in the space exploration community. It is imperative that we maintain that ranking. We are committed to continually elevating the content we create and the ways in which we share it with the public.
We are considered an influencer in the space community and we must steward that responsibility and opportunity with excellence. We have a philosophy of “how we do anything, is how we do everything”. Each S4H team member is held accountable to that belief.
You must have a reputation for developing trusted relationships and loyal followers through your work.

Responsibilities
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual social media strategies and budgets to present for discussion, modifications, and approval.
Management of all S4H social media platforms.
Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok
Content Creation to support the S4H Mission
Video, Photo, Graphics, Written Content
Design and Manage social media campaigns
Contacting guests, organizing schedules, etc.
Managing details, work flows, communications, and completion.
Producing IGTV Live events
From guest recruitment to coordination of details to producing the actual IGTV live discussion.
Representing the S4H brand in all communications.
Adhering to S4H culture and protocols.
Develop graphic design elements such as photos, images, memes, infographics, videos, etc.
Manage our Newsletter and email updates
Curate information and create and publish the monthly newsletter.
Create update and announcement emails as necessary (up to 2 per month).
Attending designated team meetings and meeting with S4H Leadership as needed.
Constantly drive S4H towards optimization and innovation.
