SaaS Community Manager - Part Time/Freelance
About StartupSauce SaaS Community:
StartupSauce is an exclusive, private community of successful SaaS founders based outside Silicon Valley.
Most of the discussion revolves around the day-to-day operation aspects of running a SaaS business like sales, marketing, hiring, systems & processes, recommending service providers to work with etc.
Our members join because they want to network with other successful founders, share advice, make intros, and learn from each other. Our community is small, but very engaged and once members join they typically remain a member for a long time.
Ultimately, if you’re a SaaS founder outside Silicon Valley, we want StartupSauce to be the best damn place on earth to go to accelerate your business.
We are currently looking for an experienced freelance or part time Community Manager to join our team and make our community even more awesome.
About You
You’re a “people person” - fun, friendly, extraverted. You’re able to keep SaaS founders engaged, facilitate connections between members, organize events and guest speakers and moderate weekly mastermind calls.
Naturally, you’ll have impeccable English, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and love talking to people and finding ways to help them.
You’ll also be interested in the world of SaaS specifically and online business in general - maybe you want to start your own business one day (or you already have).
Finally, you’ll also have some experience working in a scrappy startup environment and be a self-starter who gets shit done without needing someone to hold your hand.

Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness (i.e. find and line up guest speakers, organize events)
Generate a weekly newsletter that showcases new StartupSauce initiatives such as events, guest speakers, etc.
Stay in touch one-on-one with founders and offer your personal expertise or get them connected with the proper founder to help them out
Requirements
Excellent writing and speaking skills (in English)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in any of the following marketing fields: SEO, PPC, CRO, Content Marketing, Email marketing, P.R.
Experience working for/in a startup environment
