We are looking for a Product Designer with 2 – 5 years’ experience designing for web and mobile, with an emphasis on consumer-facing products. Your portfolio should reflect all aspects of the design process, not just the beautiful, finished product. You should be able to take a project from early user research through ideation, user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and communication with the development team.

This is a great opportunity to make an impact and help with our mission to make education accessible. There will be new challenges every day!

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers to improve the user experience

  • Adapt your design process to the needs of each project, creating journey maps, flow diagrams, wire frames, prototypes, visual mock-ups, etc. as needed for both solutioning and communication

  • Navigate a fast-paced Agile environment requiring both self-direction and team collaboration

  • Strategize for the future by contributing ideas for evolving the user experience based on quantitative and qualitative data

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Figma or ability to come up to speed quickly

  • Experience with A/B testing and SEO optimization

  • A degree is not required, but a demonstrated interest in continual learning is necessary, either academic or practical

  • Experience in Product Design, with proficient skills in UX, interaction design, information architecture, usability evaluation, and user research

  • Strong visual design skills

  • Experience building prototypes of varying fidelities

If you think you’d be a good fit for this role, even if you may not meet all of the requirements, we’d love for you to apply! At Study.com, we strive to create an inclusive culture that encourages people from different backgrounds to bring their unique, diverse perspectives to work. We aim every day to build an environment that empowers us all to do our best work. We can’t wait to show you what we have to offer!
