 Job Description:

As a Graphic Designer at WideOrbit, you will have a strong portfolio and a solid background in design for digital and social. This role will be integral to our marketing team’s design execution and will consistently produce visual solutions that are compelling, relevant, and meaningful to our diverse customer base. While mainly focused on design for digital and social, you will enjoy working with all aspects of marketing design and constantly raising the bar creatively while working quickly and efficiently.

 Here is what success will look like:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team receiving direction and actively participating in internal brainstorming sessions to create a range of design and creative assets including:

  • Design mockups/prototypes and final design assets for product launches, marketing campaigns and brand activations.

  • Demand Generation support including email design, web content, landing pages, advertising and social media.

  • Sales materials including one sheets, case studies, research reports, infographics and presentations.

  • Event support including booth design, signage, invitations, event landing pages and promotional items.

  • Provide Sales and Executive Support as needed to design custom presentations, pitches and account-based collateral.

  • Adhere to and champion WideOrbit brand guidelines while helping to push the WideOrbit visual brand forward.

  • Assist in managing an internal repository where marketing can access approved icons, visual assets, templates and best practices, in order to streamline work while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the creative and technical process, stay current with trends in design and typography; and maintain expert knowledge of current software.

  • Effectively manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:

  • BA/BFA in design or related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic and digital design for B2B marketing

  • Proven experience designing for social and digital campaigns

  • Expert in Adobe design suite, PowerPoint, Word, and comfortable with project management systems like Basecamp, Trello, Wrike, etc

  • Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS, WordPress, and mobile design principles a plus

  • Experience designing for a variety of mediums, including digital ads, social, web, email, landing pages, print, event graphics and PowerPoint presentations

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to create detailed work-back schedules, balance multiple projects, prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines

  • Agile and easily adapts to change. Low ego and comfortable with constructive feedback and changing deadlines

Location:

Ideally this position will be based in our San Francisco, CA or Lynnwood, WA office. Telecommute locations will also be considered.
