Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll help child care businesses understand the value of Winnie and drive leads and enrollments through our platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to grow our outbound and inbound sales development efforts to childcare businesses. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in either SaaS or media sales. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales.

The primary responsibility of the Sales Development Representative is to reach out to prospects and set meetings for our Account Executive team. The target market accounts for more than $30B in annual revenue and includes national and regional childcare companies, including multi-location companies, franchise businesses, and nonprofits looking to grow enrollments and waitlists. This is a high-energy, client-facing sales role. Success in this role will require not only high frequency call and email activity, but also strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

This position is remote-friendly and we are open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. Our team is distributed across the U.S. and we are hiring and onboarding new teammates virtually.

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound phone and email campaigns to book meetings for Account Executive team

  • Clearly articulate the Winnie value proposition to different segments of the SME childcare market

  • Collaborate with Account Executive team and VP of Sales to refine prospecting process

  • Provide actionable product feedback to internal product team to help iterate on our value offering to childcare businesses

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales or customer service roles

  • Quick learner and self-starter comfortable working remotely and independently to achieve goals

  • Flexible and adaptive mindset, necessary for a fast-growing technology startup

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
