eCommerce Marketing Manager
Summary
Pro Teeth Guard is a seven-figure direct-to-consumer brand making professional-quality custom dental guards affordable. We’re looking for an eCommerce Marketing Manager to take ownership of marketing and drive profitable growth.
Your first priority will be Meta: understanding what motivates customers, developing compelling advertising angles, and building a consistent process for creating, testing, and improving ads. You’ll connect creative strategy with campaign performance, then turn what you learn into better decisions and stronger results.
You’ll work directly with the founder and have the autonomy to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and see them through. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the psychology behind an effective ad and the practical work of getting it live. AI should already be part of how you research, create, analyze, and execute.
About Us
Our focus at Pro Teeth Guard is to delight customers by delivering value. We help people who grind their teeth access affordable, custom dental guards online.
We value hard work, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and doing what we promise. We solve problems with a positive attitude, treat customers with care, and communicate openly and honestly. You’ll work closely with the founder and coordinate freelance specialists to bring your ideas to life.
About the Role
Your mission is to grow Pro Teeth Guard’s revenue profitably by taking ownership of marketing strategy and execution. Meta creative strategy and advertising are the immediate focus; you’ll also drive marketing initiatives across the brand, from improving landing pages and email campaigns, to optimizing Google Ads and developing opportunities in answer engine optimization (AEO).
What you’ll own:
Manage Meta campaigns end to end: plan tests, launch ads, monitor performance, make budget decisions, and scale what works while keeping profitability in view.
Build a repeatable creative testing process. Identify customer motivations and objections, develop new angles and formats, and use results to decide what to test next.
Personally write hooks, scripts, creative briefs, and ad copy grounded in direct-response advertising psychology. Turn customer research and performance insights into persuasive messages.
Recruit and coordinate creators, freelance editors, and designers. Set clear briefs, give useful feedback, and keep high-quality creative moving from concept to launch.
Create and improve landing pages, email campaigns, and lifecycle flows using AI and marketing tools. Keep the message consistent from ad to landing page to follow-up.
Use Codex or Claude Code and other AI tools to improve marketing workflows. Experiment, check the quality of the output, and apply what works to real campaigns and projects.
Analyze marketing results, report key metrics and recommended next actions each week, and independently move new marketing initiatives forward.
What success looks like in your first 90 days:
You independently run Meta campaigns and drive the creative pipeline, making clear decisions and following through without day-to-day direction from the founder.
You establish a consistent creative testing cadence, with a prioritized backlog of angles and formats, clear test hypotheses, and a record of what you’ve learned.
You deliver a concise weekly report covering performance, insights, decisions, and next actions. You meet with the founder for one hour each week, with additional asynchronous collaboration as needed.
You launch and advance additional growth initiatives, such as an AEO project, with clear priorities, milestones, and a plan for assessing results.
Who You Are
Must-haves:
Strong DTC marketing judgment and Meta creative strategy. You understand advertising psychology, customer awareness, positioning, and direct-response principles such as those explored in Breakthrough Advertising—and can show how you’ve applied them.
A proven paid advertising track record. You’ve managed over $5,000 per day in advertising spend, taken direct responsibility for campaign performance, and can explain the results and decisions behind them.
Persuasive English copywriting and clear communication. You can personally develop research-backed hooks, scripts, briefs, and ad copy, and create landing pages and email campaigns with AI support.
Demonstrated initiative with AI. You’ve independently spent time using Codex or Claude Code on real projects and can discuss concrete examples of how you’ve improved marketing work. You actively explore new capabilities and assess the quality of what they produce.
Strong execution and analytical skills. You take an initiative from an initial goal through research, planning, delivery, and measurement. You’re resourceful, learn tools quickly, and use data to make practical decisions.
Ownership, sound creative judgment, and attention to detail. You can recruit and manage freelancers, maintain high standards, fulfill commitments, and communicate honestly about results and problems. You enjoy learning about marketing and continually improving your work.
Nice to haves:
Experience optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
Experience with SEO or AEO: improving how a brand is discovered through search and AI-generated answers.
Additional depth in lifecycle email marketing, Klaviyo, conversion optimization, and eCommerce analytics.
Experience connecting marketing tools through APIs or building useful automations.
What’s in it for you?
Competitive Compensation and Flexibility. This is a full-time independent contractor role, open internationally. Work remotely with 2–3 hours of daily overlap with US Pacific Time business hours; otherwise, organize your schedule around delivering results.
Ownership and growth. Work directly with the founder of a seven-figure DTC brand, shape marketing priorities, and see the impact of your decisions. You’ll have access to freelance support and opportunities to expand your skills across channels and AI workflows. The founder can provide coaching on the technical setup while you bring your own curiosity and initiative.
Pro Teeth Guard asks respectfully to only apply through the application form and not email/apply to them directly. Recruiters and Agencies please do not Pro Teeth Guard contact directly.
