Sales Development Representative (SDR) — Medical AI

What is RedBrick AI?

RedBrick AI is a SaaS platform for building medical imaging AI. We help radiology AI teams create high-quality annotated datasets to train and validate machine-learning systems.

We launched in November 2021 and work with leading healthcare AI teams including Mass General Brigham, Qure AI, and Hyperfine. We raised $4.6M from investors including Y Combinator and Sequoia Capital.

Our customers are highly technical—engineering leaders and research teams working on complex, high-impact problems. As a result, our sales process is consultative, technical, and trust-driven, not transactional.

The Role

This is not a typical SDR role. You’ll be our first dedicated SDR and will partner closely with the founder and AE to build a repeatable outbound engine from scratch.

We value precision over volume: the right accounts, thoughtful research, highly personalized messaging, and strong qualification. This is not a spray-and-pray email role.

Your primary objective is to build RedBrick AI’s top-of-funnel by creating qualified pipeline with technical decision-makers.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a robust understanding of the Medical AI market, RedBrick’s ICP, and core use cases

  • Build and refine high-quality target account lists within defined ICP segments

  • Conduct deep research on prospects, organizations, and technical workflows

  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, and targeted calls when appropriate)

  • Write highly personalized, insight-driven outreach that resonates with technical stakeholders

  • Set qualified meetings with engineering leaders, researchers, and technical decision-makers

  • Track performance metrics, iterate messaging, and improve conversion rates over time

  • Help build a scalable, repeatable outbound playbook (sequences, qualification, handoffs, follow-ups)

  • Attend occasional industry conferences/events to support pipeline generation

Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of B2B SaaS outbound experience (SDR/BDR or similar new business role)

  • Exceptional written communication skills (you consistently stand out in crowded inboxes)

  • Comfortable engaging technical audiences (engineering, data, AI/ML teams)

  • Analytical and curious—you iterate based on signals, not vibes

  • Self-directed and proactive—you don’t need a perfect playbook to execute, and you help build it

  • High attention to detail and high standards for outreach quality and outcomes

  • Strong spoken and written English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthtech, medical imaging, AI, or other highly technical SaaS environments

  • Exposure to selling into research teams, healthcare orgs, or enterprise buyers

  • Familiarity with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
