Frequently Asked Questions

When would you like the new hire to start?
June 1, 2025
What’s the hiring process after the application is filled out? E.G. interviews with team members and a test project?
We will have two 30 minute interviews, one with the VP of Product, and one with the CTO of a sister company.
What is your runway?
We are backed by a serial entrepreneur and are expected to be generating revenue within 18 months.
What does your stack look like?
We are running our main website on Wordpress. We build plugins where needed - most development is custom. Our media is all managed with Cloudinary. We have a secondary application that interacts with the Wordpress data to act as an admin dashboard that is built with NextJS, using typescript and leveraging Supabase. In the medium term we will likely leverage React Native to build mobile apps. In the long term we may migrate everything to NextJS.
Is this a contractor (1099) or employee (W2) position?
For those within the US, this is a W2 position. For those outside of the US, it is a contractor position.
How big is the team?
We have a full time product designer, a full time product manager, two part time software engineers, and a full time senior software engineer. We leverage other contractors as needed, such as writers and assistants to get other work done.
Are there set hours I need to be working during the day?
Core hours are 9:00am to 1:00pm PST, but you are free to work any hours outside of that.
