As an Account Executive on the sales team, you'll be the primary point of contact for new prospects and customers from evaluation to deployment. You’ll partner with companies in our SMB segment to understand their product priorities and development philosophy. You'll also introduce them to the concept of managed subscription infrastructure through highly-engaging calls & demos to help meet important objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our VP of Sales to help define everything from sales strategy to team culture.

About you:

  • You have 1+ years in a full-cycle sales role, ideally in developer SaaS.

  • You have a previous history of consistent over-achievement against targets.

  • You have the ability to manage both high-velocity and strategic sales cycles.

  • You have experience selling into C-Level, VP Product, VP Engineering, or IT.

  • You are structured, organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

  • You have empathy, positive energy, and courage to fail fast to succeed.

  • You are comfortable with process and product ambiguity.

  • You have experience with Salesforce, Outreach and a strong passion to set up and improve new workflows to increase efficiency.

In the first month, you’ll:

  • Spend time learning our product, personas, positioning, process, and systems

  • Listen & shadow customer calls to understand our talk tracks

  • Start to build a pipeline with prospective customers

Within the first 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be actively working with prospects through a full sales cycle

  • Sharing market & product feedback, process suggestions, and insights

  • Launching new ways for the team to grow customer awareness and footprint

Within the first 6 months, you’ll:

  • Have a good grasp of your customer pipeline and repeatable playbook to exceed targets

  • Mentoring new hires as the team grows in 2022

  • Working with the team to ensure everyone is operating efficiently

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with our Solutions Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams.

Within the first 12 months, you’ll:

  • Learn to work with more strategic customers as you grow your sales skillset

  • Help us enter new markets and territories to grow the business

  • Become a principal member of the sales org and contribute across teams
