Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Merchandise Coordinator to join the Technology Team at Thrive Causemetics. This person will be responsible for tackling website related projects, managing existing systems, and maintaining content on the website. This person should have an interest in project management, online marketplaces, visual asset creation and technology as it relates to ecommerce. We’re looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, wants to own major parts of a very high traffic website, and wants to learn as much as possible about ecommerce.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects with cross-functional teams for all on-site visual assets, including product launches, promotions, and more
Provide creative feedback when working on content for the website with copy and design teams
Create and maintain all merchandised pages for email campaigns
Execute weekly product merchandising and on-site search improvements
Facilitate updates to product filters, sorts, and other product-based UX optimizations
Manage on-site pop-ups and other email capture opportunities
Work with operations team to request product information and manage all uploading of product information
Create discount codes and manage on-site promotions several times per month
Facilitate all miscellaneous site updates, including copy, assets, blog posts, and more
Assist with troubleshooting for a variety of reported bugs
Provide ideas for improving website usability based on customer feedback
Identify areas of internal process improvement and help develop current system management
Experience necessary:
At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferably working in Shopify.
Experience leading small projects and working with/ giving feedback to cross-functional teams
Familiarity with online management systems and be technologically savvy. You’ve used tools similar to Slack & Asana to get work done efficiently.
An eye for good design and attention to detail
Interest in visual asset creation, product merchandising, and UX
Proactive and consistently shares new ideas for best practices and website improvements
An independent work ethic and self-starter who is also comfortable working with a small team and initiating conversations with team members
US citizenship or permanent residency required
Nice to haves:
Experience with Shopify Plus or a similar ecommerce platform
Knowledge and interest in leveraging project management solutions like Asana
Experience working in third party applications to manage content on an ecommerce website
Knowledge of merchandising best practices
