
Sr. Product Analyst

Tile is building the world’s largest real-time finding network. Our analytics team is growing to keep up with demand for our products and new partnerships. The team is looking for a Sr Product Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing data, finding insights, and making recommendations to drive informed decision-making for Tile.
This person will develop data pipelines, build reports, dashboards and presentations for key business reviews, and provide ad-hoc analysis/deep dives to support Product, Engineering, Research and Customer Care teams.

What you will be doing:
Apply quantitative analysis to understand user interaction with Tile’s products and its ecosystem; analyze large scale customer data including product usage, customer relationship, and external data sources to uncover product insights and customer behavioral patterns
Design metrics in close partnership with Product. Identify levers based on the metrics to help improve the customer experience and/or Tile’s overall business strategy
Develop strategies that enhance the customer experience and product initiatives; Partner with Research team - translate the work into actionable and measurable recommendations
Design and evaluate experiments in partnership with Product and Engineering teams, in order to draw detailed and impactful conclusions. Strive for optimizing product features and customer experience
Work with Product, Design, Marketing and other cross functional teams to help improve Tile’s user engagement and retention, propose new strategies and test/refine existing tactics
Create, automate and deliver reports and dashboards that provide insights into Tile’s customer lifecycle, partner products, subscriptions, and other programs
Instrument and test events in partnership with engineering to ensure availability, accuracy, and reliability of data
Author data pipelines via SQL and python based ETL framework
Own end-to-end data infrastructure and analysis, including but not limited to data collection, data processing, data analysis, and data visualization
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in an analyst role
Excellent SQL skills and deep understanding of databases
Experience in building data pipelines, and analyzing and visualizing data
History of working directly and closely with product managers and Engineering leads
Experience in extracting and manipulating large datasets; managing ETL best practices and processes
Great attention to detail and ability to synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas and insights to others
Proven ability to leverage business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode, to build interactive dashboards
Experience in big data environment (Presto/Hive/Spark) is a plus
Great knowledge of statistical analysis and design of experiments
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment in a rapidly changing industry
Prior experience in Product Analytics is a plus
Prior experience in Hardware Analytics is a plus
BS or MS degree from quantitative majors: Statistics, Math, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field
