Business Development Rep

Compensation

  • Base: $55K

  • OTE: $75K-$95K

As a member of our sales team (we call it our "recruitment team"), you will be responsible for connecting with potential new 'consulting partners' (our clients), conducting thoughtful discovery calls, and moving prospects through our sales process.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting thoughtful discovery calls

  • Following up with prospects in a timely manner

  • Prospecting for new leads

  • How you’ll spend your time

    • 50% discovery calls

    • 25% prospecting

    • 25% other (contributing to the sales playbook, coaching, training)

  • Schedule qualified leads for demos with the founder

  • Working directly with the founder on developing sales assets and process

  • Contributing to and managing our sales playbook

  • Research customers extensively and engage in direct outreach

  • Answer incoming sales & email inquiries from prospects

  • Convert leads to opportunities

  • Manage sales pipeline in HubSpot

  • Follow-up with leads to close the deals

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of selling experience

  • Background in training, facilitating, or consulting

  • Experience selling Business to SMB

  • Experience selling in a sales cycle of 1-3 months

  • Curious question asker

  • Proactive go-getter

  • Empathetic listener

  • Genuine interest and curiosity in how people grow a service-based business

  • An interest in leadership, organizational change, employee engagement, workplace training, and/or human dynamic at work

  • Experience selling SaaS

  • An interest in behavior science (habits! nudge technology!)

  • Helper mentality, consultative thinking

  • In your spare time, you like reading business, personal development, and other non-fiction books
