Chief of Staff

Aegis AI builds AI-agent-driven email security that stops phishing and spam before they reach employees. The company was founded by former Google security leaders who built Gmail and Chrome Security, and is backed by Accel and Foundation Capital.

As Chief of Staff, you will be the primary force multiplier for our CEO, moving priorities from idea to execution. The role includes representing the CEO in key meetings and leading cross-functional special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Force Multiplication: Own the leadership team's operating rhythm, running executive meeting agendas, offsites, and board preparation so decisions get made and tracked
  • Special Projects and Incubation: Take vague but critical problems and own them, from closing an early enterprise pilot to researching AI model integrations, until they're solved or handed to a permanent lead
  • Strategic Communication: Draft board decks, company memos, and investor updates, turning technical progress into clear narratives
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align Product, Engineering, and GTM, and remove friction that slows the agentic development cycle
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations: Partner with the CEO on fundraising rounds, the data room, investor outreach, and company storytelling

Who You Are

  • High Agency and Low Ego: a fixer who can lead high-stakes meetings or do deep research — you don't need a playbook, you write it
  • 4-7+ Years of Experience, ideally from a high-growth startup, a top consulting firm, or venture capital, with founder-led experience as a plus
  • Technically Fluent: understands AI models, human-in-the-loop systems, and the evolving threat landscape
  • The General Manager Mindset: acts like a true owner, with a direct path to a Founder or VP role
  • Master Communicator: communicates clearly with senior engineers and top-tier investors

Why This Role

This is the ultimate finishing school for a future entrepreneur. The page presents the role as a chance to learn from founders who built Gmail and Chrome Security and to work with venture partners.

Don't let this one get away.
