Security Administrator

AegisAI is a company founded by former Google engineers that builds email security against AI-driven attacks.

The Role

The Security Administrator keeps AegisAI's internal environment secure. Because our fleet and our identity stack are the attack surface, you'll administer them too.

Responsibilities

• Run vulnerability management workflows, tracking findings and coordinating fixes with engineering to meet SLAs
• Monitor and triage SIEM alerts, and tune detections to reduce noise
• Harden the identity stack and handle access reviews and provisioning across the SaaS estate
• Manage the device fleet, including enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies (MDM)
• Keep endpoints patched and track patch compliance
• Review, package, and deploy software to endpoints
• Handle company-wide IT support requests covering accounts, devices, and access
• Automate repetitive work

Requirements

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
• Solid grasp of cloud and identity fundamentals, including SSO and MFA
• Demonstrated interest in security, such as certifications, coursework, homelabs, CTFs, or related work
• Willingness to learn new tools independently and be honest about gaps
• Strong written communication for tickets, documentation, and runbooks

Nice to have

• Experience with MDM
• Experience with vulnerability and patch management tooling
• Experience with SIEM tuning, threat hunting, or log analysis
• Identity provider and SaaS administration experience
