Sales Analytics Specialist

The role

We are looking for a Sales Analytics Specialist with a passion towards delivering actionable, business critical insights. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, you will be helping sales teams to understand the effects of different actions, provide insights on key performance metrics and create tools to drive our revenue growth. In this role you will work closely together with the data engineering and data science team to make sure we have the right data models to be able to offer best possible tools and insights for our stakeholders in sales and finance teams.

You'll be part of the analytics and data engineering team, reporting to the Sales Analytics Lead. We are a team consisting of data analysts, data scientists and data engineers with a mission to enable data-informed decision making within the company. The position can be done remotely anywhere from Europe!

Responsibilities

  • Create dashboards and actionable insights for our stakeholders using SQL. Our business intelligence tool is Sisense at the moment

  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to create best possible data models and accurate data to be used in sales analytics. We own the logic used in the sales analytics related models and create the logic for models together with the data engineering team

  • Working with the data scientist to develop models and create tools driving revenue growth

  • Work together closely with the rest of the team and wider analytics community to share knowledge and help different teams to make data informed decisions

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of using SQL and prior experience in dashboarding and business intelligence tools

  • Excited about data and supporting teams to understand customers and their performance better

  • You are willing to take ownership and are not afraid to take on new challenges, while also asking help when you need it

  • Growth mindset - You enjoy learning new things and are comfortable in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to efficiently communicate with business stakeholders

What we value

  • Prior experience in SaaS companies and understanding of main KPI metrics

  • Background in (or interest towards) Sales Analytics and Aiven as a product

  • Self-taught skills and own projects
