Sales Enablement Specialist

Articulate is looking for a sales enablement specialist to join our sales team. As the sales enablement specialist, you will work closely with the sales enablement manager and sales leadership team to ensure the sales team has the skills, knowledge, process expertise, and access to assets to maximize every buyer interaction and to help drive sales performance.

You’re an excellent communicator with high energy and an informed point of view on how to succeed in B2B sales.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with the enablement manager to develop, update, and maintain onboarding and training content, resources, and materials for the sales team.

  • Monitor, assess, and optimize the sales onboarding program with the objective of increasing productivity and decreasing ramp time.

  • Ensure that sales team members have the training, content, and processes to utilize Challenger selling methodology including: taking control of the sales process by understanding prospect pain points, challenging prospect assumptions, creating constructive tension, providing commercial teaching, and closing Articulate 360 and Rise business.

  • Monitor the product release pipeline and release schedules and help prepare the sales team with use case and value proposition messaging.

  • Act as a liaison between sales, customer success, marketing, IT, and support teams to communicate updates and changes that affect customer-facing teams.

  • Contribute to research on competition, industry trends, and business news to support positioning and go-to-market plans.

  • Measure content usage and effectiveness and develop a content review cycle to ensure all content is up to date and accurate.

  • Gather and relay data points and feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy including utilization of tools, materials, and processes that can be maximized by sales team members.

  • Work cooperatively with other Articulate teams to deliver an exceptional internal and external customer experience. 

  • Keep current with existing and new sales technology as well as industry trends.

  • Field ad hoc content and support requests from the sales team.

  • Support the execution of ongoing quarterly and monthly sales 

What you should have

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or sales enablement role

  • Solid computer skills, including experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to handle and prioritize high-volume activities

  • A can-do, positive attitude

  • Excellent communication skills and experience writing, editing, and presenting to multiple levels of an organization

  • Curious, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and accountable

  • Thoughtful, productive, innovative, and trustworthy

  • Strong organizational, time management, and collaboration skills

  • Solutions-oriented and consultative approach to problem-solving

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

You're the ideal candidate if

  • You have a general understanding of sales enablement as a practice

  • You have a fundamental understanding of Challenger Sales methodology or other sales training methodologies

  • You have worked in a remote environment

  • You thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments 

  • You have experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Guru, Talkdesk, RingCentral.

  • You have experience creating and adapting onboarding and training content  

  • You can work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system or solution in place
