The role
AssemblyAI is growing quickly, and we’re searching for an experienced community manager who is passionate about building a global online community of PMs that leverage our API platform of State-of-the-Art AI models.
Responsibilities
Program management: Build and promote programs that help PMs succeed with AssemblyAI’s APIs through online forums, virtual roundtables, and high-touch relationship management
Community growth: Grow the PM community around building AI-first products with meetups, events, and supporting local community leaders.
Content creation: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional partners to identify, create, and amplify educational content for PMs, solves their problems, and bundles AssemblyAI solutions into easily accessible packages for its community
Internal advocacy: Collect and synthesize community-sourced feedback in order to influence product strategy and improve the overall PM experience
Product Manager advocacy: Build open and accessible channels for PM advocacy content, and interacting and communicating with the PM audience.
Social media: Run powerful social media, incentives, and other outward-facing efforts that will grow our PM customer and community
Candidate requirements
Ideal candidate will have deep empathy for PM motivations (past experience as a PM is a plus)
Demonstrated ability in community marketing
Experience working in high-growth tech startup environment and other online communities
Proven social media, blogging, and content development skills
Proven ability to facilitate complex and critical community situations with tact and timeliness
Working independently and autonomously, prioritizing multiple projects
