The Senior Motion Designer is responsible for the delivery of creative and thoughtful animations for clients and internal audiences. They will support the Lead US Motion Designer in the oversight of all project phases; from the initial design process through to delivery, including concept development, storyboarding, design, and animation. They must ensure the highest standard whilst completing projects efficiently. The Senior Motion Designer will be expected to work closely with their creative counterparts from across the business. 

Job Responsibilities

• Working on projects from brief to completion, delivering each stage to a high standard.

• Creating concepts, style frames and storyboards.

• Working on a wide variety of projects including 2D and 3D animation, editing, sound, grading and supporting on shoots.

• Collaborating with other Motion Designers and reviewing other designer’s work.

• Reviewing briefs, guiding the internal teams on our capabilities and how we can deliver their clients’ needs in creative ways.

• Supporting producers in defining budgets and timelines.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Windows or Mac OS Operating systems

• Adobe After Effects,

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Media Encoder

• Adobe Audition

• Adobe InDesign

• Cineware (Bonus)

• ProCreate (Bonus)

• Cinema 4D (Bonus)

• X-Particles (Bonus)

• RedShift / Octane / Arnold renderer (Bonus)

• LightKit (Bonus)

• HDRI Studio (Bonus)

Required Experience

• Degree in animation, motion graphics, graphic design, or related field 

• 5+ years’ of Motion experience

• Experience of all stages of video production and animation workflow
