
Account Manager
Avantpage is a language service provider committed to empowering immigrant and LEP communities through language access in the health and government services arenas. We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Account Manager to help us take this mission to an ever-growing client base. Our business is growing and the right candidate will have opportunities to make a significant impact as we expand our Business Development Team. We are a global company with offices in Davis, CA, Mexico City, and Warsaw, Poland. This position is for our headquarters in Davis, with the option of remote work from within the United States, Latin America or Canada.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of the overall business relationship with assigned accounts
Oversee account management, including negotiating contracts and closing agreements
Manage and maintain excellent client relations
Produce quotes and proposals
Develop solutions that will help meet our customer’s goals
Develop and run periodic business reviews
Perform onboarding process for new clients or client contacts
Lead project kickoff meetings including Operations Team
Perform in-person and online presentations and demonstrations
Build account plans and grow business organically within key focus accounts
Identify growth opportunities within accounts
Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date information in CRM
Act as a liaison between client and cross-functional internal teams
Act as first line escalation path to clients for production and delivery issues
Prepare sales and activity reports as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
2+ years of professional B2B sales and account management experience
Experience in the translation, interpreting or localization industry a big plus
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
Ability to work productively and reliably in a remote environment
High energy and enthusiasm
Works well independently and as part of a team
