Investor Relations Manager

Clover is reinventing health insurance by working to keep people healthier.

The Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy team is responsible for shaping the company’s external narrative as well as helping the company make strategic decisions that drive increased long-term value. 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our growing and motivated team. In this role, you will report to our VP, Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy, and support many investor relations & corporate strategy work-streams. You will develop collaborative relationships across the company to gain a deep understanding of the many facets of business in order to provide the facts, details, and trends that are relevant to the investment community. In addition, you will work closely with leadership to foster external relationships with the investment community and successfully communicate our financial and strategic objectives. As such, our ideal candidate will be able to combine industry literacy, financial acumen, and creativity as well as come from a healthcare background.

As an Investor Relations Manager, you will:

  • Support the planning and execution of the investor relations program, to effectively generate interest and deliver messages to financial audiences. 

  • Develop and manage relationships with current key analysts and institutional investors; build new relationships with potential analysts and institutional investors.

  • Provide analysis and report on competitor/peer business developments and financial results.

  • Help craft quarterly earnings narrative and materials.

  • Work with VP of Investor Relations & Strategy and other executives on the creation of board materials and special projects.

  • Strategize on how to position the company to drive optimal long-term value.

  • Prepare and edit presentations and related material for investor and media meetings. 

  • Collaborate with finance to create relevant external and internal co-horts and data sets that highlight drivers of long-term value.

  • Contribute to retail investor outreach efforts.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have a background in healthcare and have had a role in investor relations (in-house or agency), equity research, investment banking, or management consulting.

  • You have a robust understanding of finance, accounting and capital markets along with a good working knowledge of analyst modeling and the ability to complete pro-forma models.

  • You have the ability to create and tell a strong narrative.

  • You have proven experience collaborating with senior management and boards of directors. 

  • You are tech savvy with proficiency in both Google and Microsoft Office suites of applications.

  • You are willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed by the business.
