Job Summary

We’re looking for a highly skilled Motion Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling the final video, polishing every frame with animation, effects, color, sound, and the correct deliverable formats.

What You’ll Do

2D Animation

2D animation (icons, transitions, data visualizations)
2D text animation (typography, value props)
2D effects (particle overlays, glitch, light leaks, etc.)
Adding sound effects
Working with provided After Effects templates
Adding animation to designs provided by the designer

Compositing of 3D Renders

Compositing and color-grading of supplied 3D renders
Composing 3D renders with 2.5D layers in After Effects
Composing 3D animation with 2D effects (smoke, splashes, particles, lights, etc.)
Using UV maps to replace content (cards, vending-machine screens, etc.)

Prepare Deliverables

Render out clips at all required aspect ratios, codecs, and frame sizes for web, mobile, or social

What You'll Bring

5+ years of profession motion design experience in a studio, agency or freelance
Deep knowledge and experience in animation and effects
Ability to compose 3D renders
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and can tackle multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for design and visual storytelling. You have an eye for detail and enjoy finding new ways to help tell a story.
Work in a clear and thoughtful manner and be able to articulate the strategic thinking behind your creative process.
Thrive in a collaborative environment, but can also work autonomously with strong time management skills.
