Digital Marketing Director

The Digital Marketing Director at Designity needs to be someone who has led a team consisting of Creative Marketing, Data and Metrics, Social and Digital Media (agency and client-side), who is ready to propel a brand forward. You have a passion for guiding others and producing exceptional WOW-moments in the digital world. Your marketing ideas will be unleashed on projects across all departments of the Designity business, including Clients, Business Development, Branding and Learning and Development as you grow the Marketing department.

Designity is a subscription based virtual creative platform that is disrupting traditional advertising agencies, creative recruitment firms, and traditional in-house creative teams with tech, innovation, and new ways of seamless collaboration. Designity has a vetted network of US-based creatives led by Creative Directors who collaborate to support mid to large size businesses with their design and marketing needs. Hundreds of brands like Oracle, Audible, Marriott, Pfizer and Kung Fu Tea have already benefited from Designity’s unique model.

While we still operate like a startup (it can get messy at times) we are in full scale up mode. We’ve been doubling our revenue year after year for the past five years, and 2022 will be our biggest year yet thanks to new blockchain and VR technologies that we are integrating into our model. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating strong Marketing and Social Strategy (using organic and paid campaigns, plus other tools) 

  • Strengthen Designity’s Branding, (website, advertisements, ad campaigns, social media and emerging technologies)

  • Leading and growing the Digital Marketing Team 

  • Creating and optimizing marketing data, analytics, reporting and metrics, (including KPIs, ROIs, conversion rates, etc) 

  • Creating and optimizing marketing performance measurements, systematic management of marketing resources and processes to achieve measurable gain in return on investment and efficiency, while maintaining quality in customer experience

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for issues associated with social media paid campaigns, Google display/keywords, paid campaigns, email marketing, SEO, and other related matters

  • Responsible for strategy and the launch of campaigns, campaign management, budget management, and A/B testing

  • Managing outbound/inbound creative activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as advertising, optimization, and content development

  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, key stats, editorial quotes/clips, and data

  • Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers

  • Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of agency, marketing, advertising or innovative technology industry experience

  • You are a deeply creative, strategic and entrepreneurial thinker 

  • You use Data Analytics, Reporting Tools and Marketing Data to propel and tweak your marketing strategy success

  • You have led product development and product marketing initiatives with success

  • You have experience leading marketing teams (junior to senior,) preferably in a scaling-up growth mode 

  • You are well-versed in Marketing Communications - able to ensure clear, consistent and effective messages 

  • You have delivered KPIs and ROIs being knowledgeable in the areas of Data and Analytics, Digital Media and Emerging Technologies, (such as NFT, Blockchain and Virtualization) 

  • You thrive in ambiguity!

  • You completed a bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing or a related field.

Compensation Range $85,000 - $115,000 + potential for stock equity (dependent upon experience)
