
Marketing Manager

Our Growth team is responsible for building our reputation as a leading strategy, design, and technology partner to global brands through the promotion of our work and perspectives.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll work under the guidance of our Managing Director and in collaboration with our VP Growth and CEO to coordinate our marketing calendar and manage marketing activities. You’ll build deep knowledge of our capabilities, our clients, and our work, while championing our story, our culture, and our values through our marketing channels. As a talented communications professional, you’ll leverage your passion and skillset to tell the story of how our outstanding team of strategists, designers, and engineers solve the most complex digital and business challenges for a broad range of clients.
This is a pivotal role in driving the success of our growth plan. Success will be measured by the number of new opportunities and contacts with key decision makers, driven by increased quality and consistency of our marketing efforts.
This role is open to candidates in Vancouver, Toronto, or remote within Canada.
What you'll do
Collaborate with the Growth team to develop and execute our marketing strategy with a focus on content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing
Help tell our story, showcasing our best-in-class strategy, design, and engineering experience to attract both prospect clients and talent
Work with the Strategy and Growth teams to uncover future trends and best practices for customer experience and digital innovation in e-commerce, healthcare, financial services and other verticals and develop marketing assets that promote our perspectives
Manage tools and processes including target list building, CRM updates, and email deployment
Organize and manage hosted events (both in person and virtual) that will connect and resonate with potential clients and talent
Build and manage relationships with media contacts and marketing services partners and vendors for PR and paid media
Develop and present marketing activity status reports to the leadership team
What you'll bring
This is a mid-level role for candidates with 3+ years experience in digital marketing strategy and management
Self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues and partners
Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing tactics, tools, and methodologies, along with an understanding of SEO and SEM strategies that drive qualified leads
Experience in content strategy, writing, and editing, with an appreciation for brand voice
Aptitude for data-driven decision and progressive reporting, with an ability to articulate the story behind the numbers
Clear communicator able to engage colleagues, partners, clients, and prospects at all levels of seniority
Background in agency, consultancy, or professional services environments is preferred
