About the role
We are seeking an experienced Demand Generation Lead with demonstrated B2B experience proving out PPC, Paid Media, Influencer/Affiliates, Field Marketing and eCRM channels, and hiring in where there's demonstrable ROI.
This area of Genie has lots of investor-backed support and would suit somebody who is excited about helping us improve the speed at which we learn who our ICP is and the messaging that best resonates with them!
Reporting in to Alex, our Growth Marketing lead, you will be building out the Demand Generation function: You will own the entire design and implementation of the global demand generation strategy.
You will develop a deep understanding of your target audience to design and test demand generation campaigns
You will help us attract new customers and generate revenues through the development, execution and optimisation of multi-channel marketing campaigns
You will lead the end to end planning, development, testing and optimisation of demand generation campaigns and marketing activities that engage new users in our ideal customer segments
You will ensure all demand generation activities can consistently deliver new marketing-qualified or product-qualified opportunities and sustainable revenue growth to the sales team
You will run tests and own the data and analytics needed to measure and optimise the performance and effectiveness of your campaigns
You will own CPL (MQL & PQL), CAC, ROAS, pipeline contribution metrics per channel, e(LTV), yet ultimately focusing on revenue generated
You will ensure all demand generation programmes are insight-driven, audience led, aligned to our ICP and supportive of company strategy and growth objectives
You have hands on experience of managing and measuring brand uplift campaigns
You will stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies and techniques to ensure or demand generation efforts remain ahead of the curve
You will work closely with the Global Content and Technical SEO lead (role also live) to see which pages perform best and in which markets, and bring those insights into your campaigns
About you
You possess mother-tongue of or otherwise full fluency in English (another major language would be a plus)
You have a sound working knowledge of performance marketing in B2B businesses
You are experienced in implementing a mix of marketing tactics and possess strong analytical skills for data driven decision making
You have demonstrable ability to synthesize large quantities of data and translate resulting insights into actionable strategies
You can ruthlessly prioritise your own work
You relish the chance to set up and model attribution, brand uplift and ROAS
Your working relationship with advertising partners already such as Google, Linkedin and Meta keeps you informed of best practices to enhance performance
You have a playbook for breaking into international markets, while respecting local cultural nuances and compliance requirements
You have proficiency of working hand-in-hand with AI on a daily basis (but your work never ‘looks’ like it was done using AI)
You are deeply empathic, able to inhabit the point of view of multiple target customer personas
You enjoy using your initiative and can work autonomously, deriving satisfaction from live and completed projects
You can communicate in a succinct and accessible way to internal and external stakeholders, and you are able to build trust and credibility at all levels of the business
You possess strong emotional intelligence and are able to maintain healthy and professional working relationships in a small but rapidly growing team
You’re keen to work independently, as well as collaborate at times with a rapidly growing diverse team
You are a ‘first principles’ thinker
You have a keen interest in all things technology and are tech savvy

Interview process
You will initially meet our Talent Acquisition Lead, Charlette followed by a take home task. After this you will have a Technical Interview with Alex our Head of Growth Marketing and Ed our Head of Sales. Thereafter you will complete a Culture Interview with Rafie our Co-Founder & CEO and Rosie, our Lead Product Designer
