
Brand Strategy Coordinator

Summary:
Giant Propeller is looking for an energetic, curious, and detail-oriented Brand Strategy Coordinator to support the Brand Team. This person will be responsible for delivering research & insights that drive strategic foundational brand development, campaign direction, and more.
Qualified candidates will be able to effectively assist on multiple projects at once and will be an informational sponge — immersing themselves in the industries of our clients and articulating that knowledge in a digestible way. You have an acute interest in broader cultural trends, consumer behaviors, and are enthusiastic about delivering compelling insights.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in Audit process
Assess how a brand is telling its story both from a visual and messaging standpoint and identify opportunities to strengthen brand image and voice.
Conduct and present market research that sets the foundation for broader brand strategy and marketing initiatives
Help create and present ‘intelligence’ reports to inform the broader team on updates to best practices and trends in the latest from connected TVs, Social Media, Startups, Emerging Technology, Cause Marketing, Pop-Culture, Retail, Ecommerce, Crypto, Wearables, Content, and more.
Self-starter eager to make recommendations and taking an active role in the implementation and development of client initiatives
Understand audience behavior, cultural, social, and market trends to inform and inspire Strategy and Creative.
Work with cross-functional team members to extract strategic insights that can then translate into inspiring briefs that spark world-class creativity.
Socialize insights across Brand + Growth teams to facilitate collaboration across departments
Provide updates on industry best practices and trends that support Giant Propeller’s broader business goals and the goals of its clients
You have a keen interest in broader cultural trends and the way people think and you can articulate it in a digestible way
Provide support to the broader Giant Propeller team on strategic projects and questions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing or related discipline; relevant work experience
2-3 years in Brand Strategy / Research / Marketing role with excellent written, verbal, and presentational skills.
Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
Detail-oriented, proficient in time management skills and prioritizing tasks
Experience working across a variety of brands of different verticals, sizes, and backgrounds
Requirements:
2+ years of Brand Strategy, Brand Management, Research & Development or Marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in a succinct and clear manner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent reading comprehension
Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Self-motivated
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Understanding of website development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing, and internet technology
Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to find efficiencies
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Expert at Google Apps/Suite

In the first 30 days, you are asking questions and acclimating yourself to Giant Propeller’s processes and internal teams as well as familiarizing yourself with the worlds of our clients and their teams
In the first 90 days, you are owning the research portion of our Audit process and presenting confidently to internal stakeholders and clients
In 180 days, you are optimizing and refining our research approach, infusing new and different brand strategy frameworks into our processes
