About GoCharting

GoCharting is a web-native charting and trading workflow platform with institutional-grade orderflow and DOM tools β€” footprint/cluster charts, volume/market profile, cumulative delta, imbalance charts, DOM trading. We are the only platform that delivers these capabilities fully on the web. Differentiated as the leader in the professional orderflow niche. PE-acquired and funded in 2025, profitable, 2.1M+ registered traders globally, with a mandate to scale 10x over 4 years. US rebrand underway. US equities and US options data are being added, broadening scope beyond futures into multi-asset coverage.

The Role

This is the first product leadership hire. A product manager is now in place β€” owning the trading/backend product β€” but there is no product strategy, process, QA, or design function yet, and the CEO (co-founder, technical) has driven product direction to date. Your mission: own GoCharting's product strategy and execution end-to-end across all markets. Build the product function on top of that first PM. Ship measurable improvements while establishing the roadmap and processes for 10x growth. Define and ship AI-powered product capabilities. You report directly to the CEO.

What you'll do

40% β€” Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Audit the current product: what works, what's broken, what's missing. Talk to users, review Trustpilot/Discord/support tickets, analyze usage data

  • Conduct deep competitive analysis: web charting (TradingView), desktop orderflow (Sierra Chart, Bookmap, ATAS, Jigsaw), platforms (Quantower, NinjaTrader)

  • Produce a 12-month product roadmap with a clear prioritization framework

  • Own product strategy globally with a US-first focus for growth. US: rebrand, orderflow differentiation, closed-loop assisted trading workflow.

  • Define the AI/automation product strategy: embedded assistive AI for microstructure interpretation, review, supervision, and partner intelligence β€” not black-box signals or autonomous execution

30% β€” Execution & Shipping

  • Work with engineering to spec, prioritize, and ship. Write detailed PRDs that engineers can execute against

  • Ship at least one high-visibility product improvement in the first 90 days

  • Define and ship at least one AI-powered feature within Year 1

  • Own the quality bar: establish QA processes, acceptance criteria, release standards

  • Drive Trustpilot score improvement through targeted fixes to top user complaints

20% β€” Team Building

  • Hire and onboard the remaining product roles β€” QA (Manual, Senior), QA (Automated, Middle), Product Designer (Senior, EU/US) β€” and develop the product manager already in seat

  • Own JDs, screening, interviews, and onboarding for product hires

  • Establish team rituals, workflows, and engineering collaboration patterns

10% β€” Process & Infrastructure

  • Establish PRD/spec workflows that engineering actually uses

  • Build user feedback loops: systematic collection, analysis, prioritization

  • Define product metrics and analytics

  • Set up QA processes: test plans, regression coverage, release gates

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

  • 8+ years in product management, with 5+ years at a trading or charting platform, or trading-adjacent fintech. Must have shipped product in the orderflow/charting/market-data space β€” not general fintech. Knows what footprint charts, volume profile, DOM, and cumulative delta are

  • Has shipped AI/ML-powered product features. Not "interested in AI" β€” has defined, spec'd, and shipped assistive AI capabilities

  • Product-technical. Reads API specs. Understands websockets vs REST. Discusses data-feed architecture with the CTO without translation. Writes detailed PRDs that engineers respect

  • Has built a product team or function from scratch (or near-scratch). Has hired PMs, UX, QA. Knows what it takes to establish product discipline where none exists

  • Comfortable in early-stage, build-from-scratch environments

  • Day-1 delivery mindset. Can produce a roadmap, ship an improvement, and present a competitive analysis within 90 days

  • EU/UK timezone

Nice-to-haves:

  • Prior experience at a PE-backed or VC-backed company during a scale-up phase

  • Background at Sierra Chart, Bookmap, NinjaTrader, Quantower, Trading Technologies, CQG, or comparable trading-technology platform

  • Experience with both US and Indian/Asian markets

  • Familiarity with the CME ecosystem and US futures/options markets

  • Has managed through rapid team scaling (10β†’50+ people)

  • Freemium B2C SaaS conversion-optimisation experience

Logistics

  • EU/UK timezone, fully remote

  • Full-Time (via EOR)

  • No travel / light at start, reassessed as team scales β€” occasional Chennai (engineering), US (partners, conferences), EU (leadership)

  • Start date ASAP

Don't let this one get away.
