About the role
We’re looking for a Sr. Manager of Loyalty & Subscriber Experience to own how we build long-term relationships with customers across Grüns and our family of brands. This role will be the single owner of loyalty & subscriber experience, responsible for designing, launching, and continuously optimizing a program that drives incremental value and works seamlessly alongside subscriptions and retention marketing.
You’ll partner closely with Retention, CX, Brand, Product, and Ecomm to ensure loyalty is thoughtful, consistent, and effective — not fragmented or promo-driven. This role reports into the Director of Retention and Lifecycle.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a quarterly basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Own loyalty strategy across GrĂĽns and our family of brands with a holistic, centralized approach
Design and launch a loyalty program that improves repeat rate, cross-sell, and LTV without cannibalizing email or SMS
Define how loyalty and subscription work together as a unified customer value proposition
Build and maintain a loyalty testing roadmap (earn rules, rewards, tiers, perks, exclusives)
Analyze loyalty member behavior and share insights with Retention, Brand, and CX teams
Own loyalty-specific promotions and member experiences
Establish clear rules and documentation for how loyalty is used across channels
Serve as the internal expert on loyalty strategy and performance
We're looking for someone who:
Has 5-8+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or loyalty roles
Has launched or owned a loyalty program in DTC, CPG, or subscription businesses
Has built differentiated loyalty, membership, or subscriber benefits that go beyond standard points and discounts.
Is comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, CX, Brand, and Ecomm
Is familiar with loyalty platforms (e.g., LoyaltyLion, Yotpo, Smile.io)
Brings a strong analytical mindset around repeat rate, cohorts, LTV, and incrementality
Values testing, documentation, and scalable processes
Approach to the role:

Obsessed with incrementality and customer behavior
Disciplined about protecting long-term loyalty value
Collaborative, confident, and comfortable with ambiguity
Customer-first and commercially grounded

Compensation & Benefits:
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is between $130,000-$150,000 depending on experience. Beyond base salary, we offer competitive equity packages and a comprehensive set of benefits designed to support the well-being, growth, and balance of our team.
