Product Manager

Product Manager

Kaleris’ is looking for a Product Manager who can contribute to our journey of building the new generation of products, who is customer obsessed, has bias for action and someone who has a passion for making the complex simple, creating world class products that non-coders can implement and most importantly use, and is responsible for delivering high-margin, commercially successful products that drive customer value in our industry..

Day-to-day responsibilities

The Product Manager is responsible for providing solutions to meet customers’ needs, identifying opportunities for improving or expanding the product offerings, and for working closely with other Product Managers to translate these needs into tangible requirements.

The Product Manager ensures the right priorities are defined, collaborating closely with the Engineering, Quality, and Scrum Teams to validate that technology choices meet customers’ requirements, and a high quality product is delivered.

Overall responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, development, launch, and ongoing execution for new product features

  • Define product requirements by understanding the needs of our customers

  • Work with our customers, partners, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements

  • Define creative, high quality, and clear product roadmaps based on customer and stakeholder needs, team strategy, and vision

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among needs of various customer and stakeholder groups

  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements, and user stories that can be used to create product features

  • Work closely with Engineering throughout the development cycle

    • Attending and participating in Engineering status meetings

    • Designing supply chain product features

    • Writing user stories and grooming with the engineering team

    • Tracking the progress of projects by communicating with Engineering, Professional Services, and other parties

    • Driving the detailed functional design and development of the application on a day to day basis to ensure it is in line with specifications and working to resolve any issues

    • Participating in documentation, training, and release note preparation

  • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and productdevelopment programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing requirements and time schedules with engineering, sales, professional services, and customer support

  • Manage new customer specific (early adopter) or existing customer specific feature development projects, authors SOWs and project manages those engagements with customers and other internal functions

Experience Needed

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical or business field

  • A minimum of 5 years of total experience implementing/executing supply chain planning/execution software or 5 years of experience in supply chain related operations managing software implementations / design like Kaleris's yard management product

  • Strong track record of launching products and ensuring customer success

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communications and motivational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as verbal and written English language communication skills

  • Strong team-orientation with proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results

  • Experience in Warehouse Management systems or with related software such as Yard Management and Transportation Management is a strong plus
