About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join the fast-growing Content Team at ManyChat. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing our social channels as well as content creation and engagement with users to share the ManyChat story, educate customers, and drive referral traffic. The ideal candidate is someone who loves all things social media. Having a deep understanding of the social media landscape, trends and platforms is required for this role in order to conceptualize, plan and execute content with a social media lens.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage and implement tactics to grow our social media channels
Plan and manage the social media calendar
Create and publish original content onto our social channels: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn & Twitter
Support Paid Media and create ad copy
Respond to comments and engage with partners/influencer accounts
Execute and update social media content plans in collaboration with teammates. This will involve the development of both planned and ad-hoc content, publishing, and facilitation of promotional activities on social media
Grow our audience by developing a social presence that stands out among the noise
Build a core, engaged audience by producing Lives, takeovers, and Reels
Analyze data, write concise metrics recaps and report on the results to the marketing team and management
Understand the different platforms and uses of social media, beyond just publishing content
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and the evolving analytics landscape
Monitor and report performance of published social content and social interactions
Be an active partner in customer journey roadmap conversations proactively pitching social ideas
Become familiar with ManyChat’s voice, tone, and story to create social content that aligns with our brand and message
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of social media experience & demonstrated success leading social media campaigns that have driven rapid growth for consumer tech brands
Experience with tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Figma
Understands social media best practices and how to implement them with attention to brand guidelines
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; should feel comfortable with data analysis and be able to use data to make decisions and tell a story
Experience with design and basic video editing
Experience conducting consumer insights research and delivering social report
Familiarity with digital ads & ad copy
You have a constant awareness of changing social trends
Creative thinker with the ability to create engaging content that educates users while adhering to brand guidelines, tone, and style
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive projects from start to finish
Deep understanding of social media marketing and customer journey
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when collaborating with teams
Strong interpersonal skills--a team player with a positive, collaborative spirit, as well as a good problem solver and an innovative thinker
